Plan your design

Waves, daisies, cherries, dots or a mushroom door: sketch the idea lightly, or just start with colour.

Paint in layers

Start with big shapes, let them settle, then build up. Mistakes are easy to paint over.

Add the little details

Tiny dots, leaf veins, a bright highlight. This is where the pot gets its personality.
